I am using the exchange activesync for my work email.  It's eating up 106MB of memory.  My inbox is empty, but I file things in folders.  I think that is what's eating up my storage.  I just need access to my inbox emails, calendar and contacts; not the folders.  Any ideas??

You can define how many days or weeks of email you want to keep on the phone.

I normally keep two weeks on one account and one week on the other. This keeps the storage use at good levels.

If you are using/synchronizing other folders in addition to Inbox, try reducing the number of days/weeks you keep on the phone.

It was set for 3 days -- if I'm looking at it correctly.  Mail Settings - Download Past Mail - 3 days.  I appreciated the help.

Unfortunately, the Email app does not allow you to choose which folders to sync, as the application on Windows phones does.  Sad

There's nothing on the server side to manage this either.

I just checked and mine is using 2.75MB  Huh?

Reset phone and all is well.  Must have had a memory hungry app.
