If anyone can offer help I would much appreciate it. I set my Yahoo email to "pull" every 5 minutes. Rarley does this work. Usually I get emails that are anywhere from 15 minutes to 3 hours late. SO I set my Yahoo email to forward to my Gmail (thinking it Google would automactically "push" my emails). Same problems. Sometimes it works but usually it doesn't. I am tired of getting my email hours after they have been sent. Any suggestions? I don't care which email appears I just want my email within a timely fashion from once they are received in my email box.

are you using the "mail" app or the "gmail" app?

My Yahoo email is set up through the "mail" app. The Gmail is set up through the Gmail app. Do I need to set up my gmail through the regular "mail" app?

No, The Gmail app will handle all Gmail functions properly.
