Ok last nite i checked thru my friends phone, he has motorola droid running froyo 2.2. I checked on his droid market and I found the concur app but when I look on my droid eris 2.1 market its not there. For the heck of it we installed it on his with no prob. Anybody have any idea?
Hi Benny,
The issue with this app is most likely a couple of things.
The marketplace in theory is the same for verizon android phones but there can be a couple of factors why you are not seeing the app or it isnt working.
1) The app could be for 2.2 users only which would be decided by the developer and so the market on the the eris excludes this from showing up so you dont try to install it and it either get a failed install or screw up your phone.
2) This could be a motorola phone app and so again it wont show up on the eris when you search the market.
Now a way around this might be to root your phone with a 2.2 rom (dont know if you are rooted, if not and you try, please read all info and proceed with caution when you do. Its not that hard but just know what your getting into). Now this may also not work because if its specific at this time to your friends phone and not for others, it still may not install.
Hope this helps
