The screen resolution is 480x800 for anyone wanting to make any wallpapers.
Here are some I found:








If you want to find something specific, on Google Images type "(SUBJECT HERE) imagesize:480x800"

In XP - get the Image resizer Powertoy.

In Vista and 7 - use MS photo editor native to the os


Or google and grab some freeware. :-))

Just dl the pics and save then to DCIM on your SD. From your home screen > menu > wallpaper > lock screen > select the appropriate album and pic and BAM custom lock screen

You shouldnt need to resize the pictures to use them on the eris.. When you select a picture to use as a wallpaper/lockscreen/contact picture, It should bring up a Picture Cropping tool, which allows you to crop the image to fit the application you are using it for Smiley

Just want to clarify something on screen resolution. 320X480 is the total screen size resolution.  That is the image ratio for the lockscreen.  However for your home screen wallpaper the ratio needs to be 640X480.  (to allow home screen scrolling side to side) The native app will crop and resize as needed.

are you able to put any wallpapers you want on each desired page? cause i would like to post a wallpaper of my 5 favorite basketball players one on each home screen as i slide it. is this possible?
