I've spent the last 2 days setting this one up and I have to say, after all the wrinkles are ironed out it's pretty darned sweet. I'm gonna play with some over-clocking with it over the next week or so but even without it, runs pretty darn smooth.

I think a lot of people are turned off because it doesn't have sense and really doesn't have any frills like a nice theme or anything like that. But this truly is the fastest Eris ROM I have tested. There is definitely something cool about being on the leading edge of the ROM world and in that respect Kaos is almost falling off of the edge. Anyway, great ROM, a little different than most Eris owners are use to but well worth the change!

What specifically do you want to see? I can post something now but all you will really see is my custom setup of ADW launcher. The ROM doesn't really look any different than any other vanilla ROM, it functions different.

You wouldn't be running Appbrain would you? I've got it running but it won't install anymore. Have you run into that? I've run into a lot of minor app quirks on this OS nothing unsurmountable but still the occasional surprise.

Yea I have it but haven't tested it until now, works fine. I downloaded Mario lwp which is pretty sweet. Hopefully kaos will release v24 soon and your bugs will be gone.

If your up for wiping your device again many people report bug fixes after doing wipe- flash- wipe.

Heh, thanks for the screens Sik. I decided to just go ahead and flash it right after I asked and forgot to delete my post.

A couple annoying things I keep running into on it are my habit of sliding the drawer open causes it to dissapear from the bottom of my screen for a while, and I randomly lose my notification bar. I tried factory reseting it, but not a fresh wipe/flash.

Has anyone else run into these?

Those are not bugs but rather they are settings within ADW. If you go in to the menu>ADW settings>system preferences, the swipe up action and swipe down action are causing your stuff to disappear. Just change the action and your issue will be fixed  Grin

Cool,  I got those figured out, but now I'm having issues with super user permission spams and the camera not showing the shot in the view finder, as well as pictures and some messages showing up in the stock messaging app. I'm thinking about nanding and trying a different ROM sadly

the view finder is a known issue with froyo roms, if you take the picture you will still get the picture to come out.

Under normal use no. Keep in mind if you are spending a lot of time "tweaking your new ROM"  your phone will run hot. Are you overclocking? That can generate heat as well.
