just found an article about a smaller little brother to the Moto Droid phone, it's called the Motorolla Devour.. It will supposedly be a little bit smaller than the Moto Droid, and it's screen is 3.1 inches  (0.1 inches smaller than our Eris')
They are saying it will be running Android 1.6

It is said to be coming out next month sometime.. check it out!

It looks sweet but I want to know why the heck manufacturers are still releasing devices with the old OS? Its like going and buying the latest greatest computer but its only running windows 98, whats the point.

I actually work for Geek Squad and played with this phone in store, it is way too heavy (heavier than the Moto Droid) and the screen is really small. I was disappointed.

Agreed! I played with this a bit at Best Buy the other day and it was very heavy and bulky. The entire case is made of a heavy aluminum or something and there was an annoying metal-on-metal clicking sound every time I slid open the keyboard. Overall not impressed with Moto Android phones so far.
