Shortly after the update, now my home screen flips all the way to screen 1 (farthest to the left), and then back to screen 2, then to screen 1 again a few seconds later... It does this every couple minutes.  Has anoyone else seen this happen?  Anyone have a fix for it?  It's really kind of annoying... I thought it was due to syncing as these 2 screens are where my calender and news widgets are, but I turned synching off, and it still happens.

Try cleaning trackball with alcohol wipe or try to recalibrate phone.  If this doesn't work others have reported doing a factory reset to fix the problem.

My screen does the same thing.  Also, I can't get my google contacts to sync.  No matter who calls me, the phone number is right but the name is the same.  i.e.  John Doe but with the number of the actual person who called.
This is crazy

Yeah I've had some contact issues as well.  The person IS in my contacts, but when they call, it shows up as unknown... I'm not really into doing the factory reset as I JUST got my phone right after the last one!  But I'll try the trackball cleaning...

Arrrgh.  This isn't working.  Tried everything short of the reset.  Still does it.

Oh that OTA update.  Have read where others had to do a factory reset when nothing else worked.

Mine did this also. I factory reset it and everything. Yesterday I took it to the Verizon store and I should be getting a new one in the mail in about 2 business days  Smiley It has to do with your trackball I think.

Don't waste time with a factory reset, caibration and cleaning may work, hasn't worked for me and I've seen no reports where it has.  It is poor hardware placement so due to the phone getting hot and being charged too long it melts and moves some things in relation to the trackball.  this is why screens begin to move and trackball ceases to work. personally mine scrolled down uncontrollably and then wouldn't scroll down at all and now it has happenned going left.  It is so bad at the moment that when my phone is locked and on charge i cant even unlock it because the screen shows me tapping all over the place.  That may not be the effect of the trackball issue but it just further proves how the heating of this phone cause adverse side affects.  The only for sure fix is taking it to VZW and getting a replacement and taking good care of it of course because it is quite possible that it will happen again

One probably unrelated problem I've experienced is when I am trying t use the phone during a call it randomly locks up very so often (no matter if my lock is on/off or set to a longer delay) and this is quite irritating, in fact if it is completely laid flat (horizontally) it will NOT turn on to view the lock screen at all unless the call is terminated.  Been like that for quite some time,  Anyway I hope i saved you time and wory
