I looked at the "Task Killer trade" in Android when I first got here and said 'wait a minute, this is Linux'! I have two ANCIENT servers (12 yr old Pentium IIs) and they scream running Linux. I couldn't imagine that Linux running on a phone could run badly enough to need a Task Killer. Comments since then from the mods here have born that out - you don't need 'em. I got a long cable with my bluetooth headset (for charging only). One day I grabbed it thinking 'they're all the same' and SURPRISE - they are not! I cannot connect the Eris with the long cable, only charge. Moral - use the one that came with the phone... I tried connecting it to my pc and it didnt work, I tried again a little later and it did, But didn't realize until later that I was using a different cable.. I tried the long one again (like you were saying) and it didn't work lol.. If only I had remembered this when you needed it! haha!
