Verizon has released a new PRL update...

If you dial *228 and pick option #2 you will go from current PRL to 52011.

(If option 2 doesnt work, you can do *22899 and it will update all without asking for input, just the music will play)

PRL is the phones ability to search for nearest cell tower with best signal....

i actually attempted this last night because i wanted to relocate to the nearest cell tower, there was NO way for me to bring up the keypad... it wasn't a regular phone call it had the same look as if you were setting up a new phone and there was no keypad i even pressed home and went to phone call through the app, homescreen, and notification bar all brought me back to the same place. froyo is ruining itself for me Sad

While in call just hit the home button and then the call button again. It will come up. Also you can just dial *22899 and let it auto program not input needed from user. Just the music will play...

if you need to press 2 the hold menu till the keyboard comes up and use the 2 from that.

are u doing *228 or *22899

*228 might give issues. Just do *22899 a couple of times and it will program
