I haven't yet had a chance to respond to this, however, I am having an issue with the Phone dialer, making phone calls and voice with leak #3.  In fact, one of these issues, the dialer lag, is what was peeving me off the most with 1.5, and now it seems it has returned in this leak.  Also, several times since the update, I have had active phone calls, not drop, but they couldn't hear me, and I couldn't hear them, and the call was still active.  Very odd issue.  I thought it may have been Google Voice because I use Voice, but I deactivated Voice and the problem occurred still.  Also, the Phone app itself seems to lag, after I punch in the number or a contact and it sometimes takes up to 10-15 seconds for the call to even initiate or for the phone to even register that I tapped the call button.

Problems with apps and secondary "less-essential" features of the phone don't tick me off all that much, but when it comes to making calls and using the most important aspect of the device (the phone), it really grinds my gears...  Hopefully, this OTA update, if it's any different than the leaked version(s), do not have this issue.  Ugh, one can only hope.

Yep today I am feeling your pain...lol....For some reason today my dialer is acting the exact same way.  Had to reboot 3 times so far.  Today I played a "toilet game, fun tower" received 3 calls, 2 went to voicemail, called voicemail, checked weather bug, sent a couple of texts, tried to download an update for google maps but it keeps telling me unsuccessful, used barcode scanner once and checked all people widget to add a number to an exsiting contact.

Just wanted to document to see if there are any particular items in commom with anyone, to uncover what could be causing this.  I was on 1.5 for such a short period I cannot remember what issues were prevelant.

Yeah, this issue seems to be sporadic (and erratic).  Since that post, the issue has somewhat subsided, but not to say I haven't had other issues since then (GM Nav Beta froze my Eris while I was driving)...  These crimes between us grow deeper.  Smiley

Wow EADApparel  we were having the same exact issues!  I have not tried today to download the update for google maps.

Now today my phone is working just fine for dialer and anything else.  It is rare  for me to have the dialer lag or silence, but understand it can be annoying(wait my BB storm was annoying), this is a walk in the park then.   Smiley

Hey Ripley,

Yeah, it had been running great on V3 until tues/wed.  Going on now though the google maps download came through yesterday and the dialer lag is gone.  Just waiting on the OTA 2.1 now

After reading your post, went to market and downloaded the upgrade for Google maps and success!!  Dialer problems were also on tues and wed.  Phone has been fine since then, still hate the vibration it makes when calling!  arghh..

With the v2.1 Leak 3, I'm having trouble with the bluetooth audio connection to my car and the music player. It plays back at twice the speed when connected via Bluetooth, but through the audio jack it plays at normal speed. I've tried unpairing and re-pairing my phone to my car but no dice. Any ideas? I'm trying to find the music player on the Android Market to see if a re-installation of it will fix the issue, but haven't found it just yet.

I've had problems with Cubed (music player) doing weird stuff like that on my Rocketfish - bluetooth head set. Closing the music player and restarting it clears it up. The trick is to isolate whether it is the bluetooth connection or the software.

I just received mu 2.1 update today. I lost my weather widget and my Facebook doesn't work anymore. I already synced w/o success. I did NOT have the leaked version(didn't know there was one). I am located in the Memphis, TN area. Any ideas on what I need to do to get my weather/date/time widget back and to get my facebook app working again?

Any help is appreciated:)

THANKS!! I got my facebook working again but still can't get my weather widget back. I'm afraid to do a factory reset because it indicated that it would also delete my google account. I don't know how to set that up again since the I had verizon set that up for me when I purchased the phone.

Would it be difficult for me to reset up my google account?? Anymore ideas? Thanks again.

Did you clear data from weather as stated for weather fix?  Did you reboot phone after doing this?

I'm having a problem with the phone running hot. I will reboot, then if I use the internet or anything else it just stays hot.
Anyone else run into this yet?

All you need to redo your google account is your google email and password that you used to setup the phone account. The phone will take care of everything else..
