VZW JUST SENT ME AN E-MAIL SAYING i WILL GET THE 2.1 UPDATE!!?? DID THEY SCAN MY PHONE AND SEE THAT i'M ON V3 LEAK AND THOUGHT IT WAS THE OTA???  IF SO GREAT I WILL GET THE OFFICAL OTA WITH BUG FIXES THEN??? ANYONE GOT AN E-MAIL LIKE THIS TODAY?? |

Nothing yet, here. If I do get an updated OTA message, I am going to deny it for now. If I update the OTA it might eliminate my ability to root, with the newest root process.

VZW said it was excatly what I have right now software matches v3 leak to the T?? the radio is the same as the v3 leak also??!!

It appears the update isn't anything extra from 2.1, but updating to 2.1, which V3 already is, correct? |

i just got the email from vzw discussing the benefits of 2.1 i have the leak 3 version so i don't think this will benefit me.

I do believe that VZW is a little behind! The update goes higher then V3 leak software it stays 2.1 but bug fixes the existing 2.1 software per Jrocker's post. And says use leakers will get this update cause the OTA won't look for certian parts of our software. So yea I'm thinking VZW may have something up there sleves but there confused on which OTA is may be? Well we'll find out maybe maybe not?AA

From what Jrocker says us v3 leakers will get the OTA!!! Back in June his future wife and friend with the v3 leak got the update so this sound good for us!!! And per VZW sending me an e-mail at 2:06 pm today about it also keep fingers crossed fellow Eris lovers!
