I downloaded the update manually and now I can't download apps! I keep getting an error message that says "insufficient storage available_ Cry

try dialing *228 and use option 1, if it doesent help,

then delete the file from memory card then do a factory reset

menu/settings/privacy/factory reset.

It will erase everything but the 2.1 update. It should all be good after that. You should still dial the *228 after this just to update the latest phone radio settings.

I I did a factory reset right before I installed the update so would I still have to do another one? I can download the app just fine but it won't install.

There was no need to to a factory reset before the update. The update does it while it installs.

If you can download but not install, check your phones memory not memory card. Apps get saved on the phone not the memory card.

If your phone has no memory, somethings not right. If your phone is out of memory do another factory reset to clear everything and try again.

By the way I'm not using a leaked version. I did the manual update of the file that was posted earlier and accidently did a reset Embarrassed. I checked my phones memory and i have 129 megs left. I'll try another factory reset and post the results.

Ok then the file and phone are up to date. A factory reset should fix it. Let us know...

IT WORKED! But now I can't get my gmail and Yahoo! accounts to connect with Exchange but I'll search the forum so thanks! Smiley
