Hi,

I am new to this and this is my first post. I do have in my home however an Eris on v3 (mine), and an Eris still on 1.5 (my daughters). I am in South Georgia and haven't heard of anyone around hear getting the OTA update as of yet. But I will let everyone know if one of us in this house gets it! I figure if my daughters phone gets the update and mine does not....well...then I won't get it. But, I have been very happy with the v3! We both got our phones on the same day in the middle of March.

Hope something happens here soon!

Running stock 1.5 in GA. Still waiting on the OTA.

Hey,

My daughters phone that is on 1.5 is downloading the update as I type this!!!! My phone running v3 has not recieved the update Huh?... Glad hers came in though!!

Can you tell us what you saw on your daughter's phone that tells you an upgrade is available so we know what to look for...

 Sounds like a stupid question...but anything at this point will help...

Her phone said she had a system update in the notification bar at the top of the screen. It was similar to when an update shows up for an app..except it said "system" update was available.

Got ota  at about midnight sat/sun. Checked my phone and saw the upgrade notification on the top bar. Took about 20 minutes upgrading from 1.5. Only thing I lost were my contacts but got them back after syncing. Still have all my widgets and apps. My girlfriend hasn't received hers yet. We live in miami. Just have to be patient!


P.S. As expected, it rocks! lol
