Amazing that with all the people on this site, and all of us who did the leak and still not 1 person to get the OTA update....
I am really beginning to think we will not get it as the Verizon rep advised me...something is not right...

Getting on towards Day 4... Where are the people monitoring this site from? My thought is that maybe we are all in the NE or the East or something and they started in the west... I've heard that they updated AZ... But I'm in NY, and I've got a friend in NC who also hasn't gotten it...

I'm in PA. I actually live about 3 miles from the Verizon headquarters which are the people who do 80% of the tech support when you call 611. I was sure I'd be one of the first to get it.......NOPE, NOTHING!

Right now I can confirm that St. Louis, Arizona and Texas have received updates. I don't think anyone so far thats posted was on leak version 3...
Give it time 2 weeks is what is predicted to be the time frame.....

Reading some threads in the other forums and it sounds to me like V3 is OTA 2.1 plain and simple. No one has Pinch - Zoom maps, or a MIC in any text box for voice to text ..... Doesn't sound like anything new compared to what we have with leak v3 and certainly doesn't sound like anyone with v3 is going to get the OTA because there is nothing new to get. Again, speculation from what I read but this is what is sounds like to me. and if this is the case, well then I am happy I got it weeks ago  |

I don't think we will get (or need) OTA, either. I'm curious about all the new features that Verizon was promising with OTA. Its seems like no one received them. |
