Ah its on and off for me just like it was with leak 1. Airplane mode for a sec (no need to plug in charger) and its starts going down, at 2% right now.

oh cool, so you dont have to plug it into the charger? thats good to know, and much easier! lol.

I did notice, the only thing the charger really does, is reset the battery info to "since last unplug"

but i still have the problem too... I didn't the first 2 times I started up the device though, ( i thought it was fixed Sad lol )

I am seeing the call quality is worse with 2.1....

 I have a terrible echo and the call is breaking up as well...the person on the other end hears it as well and on 1.5 I was not having any issues with call quality...

  For those wondering if it could be the other person on the line with me, it is my wife and she is in the same locations as before and we never had these issues...

  If given the choice to go back to 1.5, it is at this point I would strongly be thinking of doing so....


Call quality is without a doubt worse now then it was on 1.5....calls are breaking up and static and signal strength is not what it was before the update.

Never had the 50% issue and call quality has been the same as when I got the phone, no problems there.  What I have noticed with Verizons coverage, at my house, is the signal strength decrease.  This starting happening after we went through Hurricane Ike and to this day it is still the same.  Before Ike signal was strong inside my house.

a beter way to do the airplane trick is put it in airplane mode restart your phone take it off air plane mode it will be at 0 u dont have to wait for it to drop down.

It does that because it is reporting the percent since boot. It works either way but the idea is to just make sure you are not stuck at 50%. I actually havn't done this in a while, stuck at 50% with not reduction in battery so I just leave it be.
