Why is the forum so dead lately? I kind of miss you guys, but there has been nothing new to reply to...  Sad

Is it because Sik isn't making ROMs anymore?

Ah don't be scared.  I know I have been busy lately with work and the upcoming holidays, seems like there is always something going on now.

I check on the site multiple times a day, not much going on so I don't post.

My opinion...the eris is dying out. This is not the only eris forum that is seeing a significant decline in activity.  This site, whether by default or design, is really nothing more than a how-to site. Typically new users stop by, ask a question, reap the rewards of our answers, and then never (or rarely) cone back.  There is a small handful of us that contribute any real information.

I think that a large number of people whom still own the eris are active in the development community, either developing or using something other than stock. Since there is very little development activity here there is very little reason for the majority of the community to come here.  I have made considerable efforts to ramp up dev activity and info on the site but it has had very little impact.

I love this site and I will be here until my eris has passed. I will continue to update and support nonsensikal here for what it's worth but the site will die eventually.  Can't really have an active forum when the 6 of us already know what we need to know Wink

I still have another year before I am eligible for upgrade, so I am going to be sticking around also, if only for troubleshooting and whatnot.

Also, I am kind of getting pissy with Tazz's ROM. I think I am going to go back to nonsensikal black 7.0. It was my favorite!

Agree with ya Sik.  There are times I read a question and know there will be no response back  or a simple thank you it worked, so I do not bother.

I cannot upgrade till mid next year, so my little Eris better keep chugging along as I refuse to pay full retail for a phone that will be outdated a month later, they way new phones are hitting the market now days.

Esc, school is hard enough and then add two toddlers on top of it, proud of ya.  Heck I can barely keep up with one cat.

I have the forum open in my browser all the time. I often find that if it's a question I've answered 5-6 times I don't bother. I should be eligible for an upgrade in about a month or two so we'll see. I'm still undecided on what phone I want. I really want to stick with a FantaSIK ROM Smiley
What phone are you thinking of getting Sik??

I agree the forum has been pretty quiet lately. But on the bright side, search for "Droid Eris" on google and look at where we are in the results..
