What what in the butt

WWW
« on: August 11, 2010, 01:59:01 PM »

My family is looking to get a new Internet service provider. We currently have 26Kbps  Shocked

It's horrible, so, I was wondering what your internet provider is, what your speeds are, price (if you wish).

It would help a lot,

Thanks guys,
Jesse

Its better than 26k lol

I have att also with 1.5Mbps and it works well for me.

Why don't you just tether the family through your phone Wink

Cheesy one is a desktop so that won't work well lol

We went with Qwest at 6mbps, saving over $30 a month

Hope you are sitting down-

Cox Communications bundled package includes:

15MBps Internet service (supports 4 desktops and 2 laptops on both wired and wireless legs)
I run both a web server (see my profile) and and an FTP server from my den - the web server also
provides streaming music from my music collection (55 GB) on a secure connection

VOIP w 100 min/mo free and all the bells and whistles (messages directed to my Eris via e-mail)

Single Tier Digital HD with converters and remotes for 2 HD TVs (and a networked Blu-ray player)

All for the paltry sum of *GULP* $185/mo  Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided (A STEAL!)

I was going to drop the land line to pay for this phone but because it's all a "grandfathered" package I was only gonna save about 3 bucks.

Nothing in this town would meet that criteria - if you lived here it would be tin cans & string Cheesy
