I just got off the phone with the CS dept at VZW. I'm ready to upgrade and my line is eligible. (Although not NE2 till December.) The CS rep told me that my line is available for upgrade, but it can only be done online and that I cannot get any 4G product or iPhone at the discounted price.

What in the world? Last time I upgraded (to the Eris) it was all done by a very nice lady ON THE PHONE. This guy seemed very confused. I asked him about the unadvertised "private loyalty" sale that they have been running on the Tbolt and BB Bold. He said that might be for "new lines only".
Why can't I get CS to do the upgrade for me on the phone? I went to the store yesterday and waited over 45 minutes to talk with a sales rep.
