I just wanted to say that im excited to be a member of this forum! I have had this phone for about 6 months and felt ripped off after i found out that Eris wasnt getting 2.2. This past Friday, while bored and on You Tube, i was randomly looking at stuff and just so happened to come across a 2.2 tutorial on Eris, and from there i was opened up to the other side of the phone i never new exsisted. After 2 days of deliberation, i rooted my Eris, and am now running kaosfroyo v37 and it is awesome, much more smooth, and fast!.....A few questions......Do i have to run root everytime after i install an update or new app?....What are the differences between Kaosfroyo and Tazzfroyo, and which is better? ADW or Launcher Pro.....and last....where can i get some android themed wallpaper?
No you just wipe data/dalvik when you want to change roms. Honestly I prefer nonsensikal Rom froyo over the other ones you mentioned. Launcher pro is much better than adw.
