Hello all...I have just purchased the Droid Eris and am sitting here wondering if I should have waited for the Droid Incredible that comes out April 29th. But here I am, ready to learn more about my Eris. I am the mother of 2 daughters ages 20 and 16. I substitute teach at our local high school. I am a wife to my best friend of 21 years. I hope to learn everything I can about my Eris. Thanks for having me Smiley

Congrats on your new phone!  You do have 30 days from purchase to return your phone if you decide to change.

Welcome Aboard! This whole Android versioning thing is making it really difficult to come to a comfortable decision on which phone to get. Like I told my daughter, get what you are comfortable with now. Like Ripley said, you got 30 days - explore and if you aren't comfortable don't hesitate to take it back. Grin

Yea that's a tough call. But its your call none the less. This forum is full of people who dig their Eris' and are equally knowledgeable about them. And Two years from now we will all have phones better then the incredible and eris put together so...enjoy it while u can!

I have an Eris, and I think it's pretty cool. BUT the INCREDIBLE is INCREDIBLE!!!!

Yep love my Eris and you are so correct, which is why I am not upset that I cannot upgrade to the incredible without paying full retail, due to my 2 yr plan.  Will be interesting to see what is available when my renewal comes up.

i am an EMT and bought my Eris last yr. Dec. 3rd.  I just updated it to the Android 2.1 v3 and so far it SEEMS a little better, but dont know for sure. I used to consider myself a comp. geek now i just feel like an old man lol.

I know what you mean. I have owned my Eris since December also and am still learning new things.  If you have any questions let me know.
