Hello all!

I picked up my dad's old HTC Eris.  Its my first android/smart phone and after some battery life issues I have to say that I like the phone, but have run into similar problems that I have read about here.  I see that rooting the phone seems to be the answer to many of these problems.  However since I am just now joining the smart phone culture, I am unsure about all of it.  Glad I found this forum and hope I can find the answers to my questions and find cool things to do with this slightly outdated phone  Grin
