I have added some words into my phone by accident that I would really like to get rid of.  I hear one way is to use a file explorer or some jazz like that.  I am curious if there is a way to go about this through the phones preexisting functions.  Does anyone out there know of a way to delete these blasted misspellings??  Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

To clear the dictionary you press Menu then go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications and find the “Touch Input” program. Tap on the Clear data button.

Can you remove specific items rather than the file dictionary?

No, this is the only way so far.  This was from research on other forums, net, and HTC website info on Eris/Hero.

Now, will this delete ALL the word suggestions, or just the ones that were stored by me?
