Connect with USB, go to my computer and access the removable drive. Pics are in the dcim folder.

If it won't connect try menu>settings>connect to PC>hard disk

When you plug the usb in to your phone and computer do you get any icon or notification in the top notification bar? If so then drag down the notification bar and click on the notification and it should give you the option to mount your phone as a disk drive, then you can access it. If you are not getting the notification you have driver issues, download HTC sync to to update your drivers.

When you plug the phone into the PC you should get a USB symbol at the top of the phone screen. Does that not happen?

Sorry, I don't have 2.1 so its hard for me to do troubleshooting. There is a setting somewhere in the menu called connections or something similar.

Sounds like one of two things are happening A) you are not using the original USB cord that can with the phone (it matters) or B) there is something wrong with the cord or the port on the PC you are plugging into.

Yeah it can be picky when you use certain cords, I found out.  Do have one that is not original that does work, but have another non-original and it does not work.
