Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this site. I had previously been a Palm OS addict but switched to Droid Eris and haven't had any regrets except.....I cannot believe as awesome as this phone is that I have to PRINT my task/to do list from the online calendar and that I CANNOT view it on the device? Am I wrong? Someone please tell me there is some way to view my task list ON THE DEVICE or that there is a good alternative. I have read some posts about Astrid and a few other applications but where/how do I get them? Do they sync with Google calendar? Can you enter data online rather than just on the device? I know how to use the phone but am not very "techy" other than that so please be specific when responding. This is a really HUGE issue for me so any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Seriously, since I got this phone in November I haven't gotten anything done personally bc I never have my task list with me. Crazy that a phone like this doesn't have that capability. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help. Remember, be specific, I'm an idiot when it comes to this stuff.  Smiley

Sounds like you need to go shopping!  Double click the "Marketplace" icon on your phone the Verizon salesfolks usually put it on your desktop), click search and type in "To Do". Take your pick from there.

I was a Palm users as well. it was the best device and had everything long before the others but to answer your question go get the "SSI gTasks ToDo" application.  you can see these tasks as a separate application on your phone and in online calendar merged with your calendar entries.  it is pretty basic but the best one for FREE..
