Hey! I just got the Droid Eris today and for the most part I really like it. I used to have the LG Voyager and I hated that phone. But my question is...I "saved" some backgrounds from the Backgrounds app and they apparently saved on my SD card...so how do I get to them? Did I do something wrong?

Since your on 1.5 I am not sure what comes native to that OS.  I use OI file manager to retrieve backgrounds.  Some others use Astro.  Go to market for either one and download to get what you are looking for.

Thanks Ripley,

Can you explain the process involved in moving or getting to the backgrounds by using the file manager?
I think that would be great information for many of us.

Usually the card dumps to /sdcard/DCIM/100media/Wallpapers or /sdcard/DCIM/100media. Check there.

I prefer Astro to OI only because it has a lot of "Windows-like" features and (as a computer guy) I am attracted to that. I have a tendency to try to manage how the phone stores it's files and Astro's features are helpful if that's your thing (can be dangerous). It also has a backup feature and if you are REALLY out of control you can connect to an FTP server and transfer files back and forth to it via the internet (YOWZERS!) Undecided
