Thanks for all the help so far. Is there a way of renaming icons on one of the home screens? Basically i Have 3 emails linked to this phone and would like to create an icon for all 3 seperate emails on the main homescreen, however I tried my work email account and it shows the icon name as webmail. Id like to change it but a long click only allows me to delete it and not rename it? Any ides please?

Hmmm, well not that i know of.. but you can create a folder: Add>Folder>new folder then a folder will appear on the desktop (homescreen) and you just drag the app ( in your case, the mail) onto the folder, and it will go inside it, then to rename the folder you open it, then tap and hold on the bar at the top that says "folder" and rename it

It will create an extra step in opening the mail.. that's the best i can do, sorry if it doesn't help

And you could try going into Astro and seeing if you can from there. I have not tried it, just came to me. I'm assuming it would go like this: Back up the app with the app back up (menu>Tools>app backup) then rename it through there and reinstall through Astro. But again i'm just guessing, i wouldnt try it on your mail app at first, maybe like Weather channel or something but i think we should wait for input from JRoaker, Monty, Eddie or Chew..

I appreciate it. I would rather not go thru tthe extra steps if possible. No biggie. I thought maybe something easy.

I've not seen a way to rename the stock icons (maybe on a rooted phone lol). Only the folders and files you make yourself. Sorry  :Smiley

You can download an app called Better Cut (Any Cut is the free version) that will allow you to make your own shortcuts, which will allow you to make your own names for those apps.

Oh yeah I forgot about this one.  Thanks for sharing.  I did use any cut when I first got the phone, but had too many problems with it so uninstalled.  There was also another home replacement I tried, name escapes me, but kept having issues so uninstalled.  Probably user error on my part though.
