Ok I just found this out today and if it has been posted I will gladly delete.

Open up your dialer and type *#*#4636#*#* this should automatically bring you to a menu with a few choices select the top choice phone info, battery info, battery history, usage statistics.  I just found this out and and still researching to see what all it is telling you and what can be done.  Monty, Eddie, Jrocker, or anyone with expertise your thoughts please.

FAR OUT! what a great little toolkit!

Better not mess with anything in that "Phone Info" section unless you are ABSOLUTELY sure about what you are doing! Document any settings carefully before you change it. You may disconnect yourself from the network or worse.

The rest of it is interesting info if you are looking for problems or testing. I'll bet some tools would be helpful when Eddie starts souping up the CPU on his soon-to-be-rooted phone lol!

If I get some time tonight I'll look some of these functions up and see what I can make out of 'em.

Here's what I found out on your ToolKit -

For GSM vs CDMA

http://www.diffen.com/difference/CDMA_vs_GSM

Ciphering provides encryption for your cell phone traffic. No mess with this.

QXDM

http://www.qualcomm.com/common/documents/brochures/QXDM_111809.pdf

Apparently turning off the radio is the same as turning off the Mobile Network.
I would do this from the desktop.

SMSC

"The SMSC is the SMS service centre, which you shouldn’t change. Refresh will
pull the SMSC number from your SIM card, which you can then edit and write back
to the card with Update. I strongly recommend you leave it well alone, and if you
are going to play with it then note down your original SMSC number first!"

The DNS will have something to do with the way your Browser communicates with the
internet by using friendly names instead of numbers. I'd leave that alone too!

The rest of the sections make interesting reading.. be careful in there!  Undecided

XDA's post on this start's with a warning you could brick your phone.

Monty , thanks for posting this.  When I get back later today I will check out the links posted.  Yep, looks like some of the stuff mentioned should not be touched.
