i am running native 2.1 and have rooted.

is it possible to use the native function in the admin screen to move apps to the SD card without a new 2.2 ROM?

I know the market has some apps2sd apps you can use or you can search our site for apps2sd and install. The big issue you will have is the sd card has to be formatted a certain way and contain a partition. It is much easier to upgrade to 2.2, it has app movement to sd built in..

thanks for the recommendation to goto 2.2.  I like the Sense UI and was curious if I could do this easily after rooting but sounds like the new ROM is the way to go.  I have already partitioned the SD card and thought that it could be done as a follow up to that using some of the native admin features.

I cannot install the App to SD application on my phone.  it does not appear to be compatible or locate the app.  found it on the new web market but still says not available for your device.

I'll check out some of the ROMs and let you know.
