I've removed all the unnecessary apps and even deleted my longer strings of texts messages, and the low storage icon is still there. Also, my phone has had trouble getting updates for my installed apps. It finds the updates but just sits on "starting download" forever. Anyone got any tips? Once the applications load, hit menu/sort by size and then open each application and try clearing the cache. After you unistall or clear cache, its good to reboot your phone.. I assume you are on a stock phone and have not rooted your phone? You can clear data but that would clean out all settings and info for the app that you cleared the data on.. All that info is saved on the phones memory. The only way around it is to root your phone(there is a ton of info on the site for this) or pray that the eris gets upgraded to 2.0 which would give you the option to move most apps to the sd card..
