Is there anyway i can get another keyboard and let this lagging keyboard disappear? Any free keyboard downloads out and if so, how to install them? Thanks!

Yes there are other keyboards out there.  Are you looking to type or swype?

The 2 most popular keyboards (besides Swype of course) are Smart Keyboard and Better Keyboard. Both of them have a free version but the paid version on each is much much better. Better Keyboard has more skins and Smart Keyboard has more bells & whistles IMHO. I have both (AND Swype) and I happened to like Smart Keyboard better because the keys are bigger (for Mr Pickle Fingers here  Cheesy). For a buck or 2 you can't go wrong.

I want something like the default keyboard, just want a little bit bigger keys and not so much lagging. If there is any links you guys can supply, would be appreciated!

Both of the keyboards I mentioned are available directly from the Android Marketplace on your phone. Try the free version(s) first before you decide.

I searched for both of the free versions for each keyboard. Only apps that came up were the free skins and bs.

Can you please tell us what those free versions are called? I also tried looking and all I found was the free skins and other useless results.

Smarter Keyboard is in the market for free, just looked.  Better keyboard costs 2.99 and is in the market place.  Are you running 2.1 or 1.5?

The Smart Keyboard version is 95 (the paid version is Smart Keyboard Pro). My apologies but it appears that Better Keyboard doesn't offer a free version anymore although it is hard to tell they have SO MANY new skins out for it. If you are having trouble finding apps and you have a computer an awesome program is Appbrain. You install it on your phone and them go to the website on the computer. At the website you can search for apps (with an easier to use search engine) and send them to your phone from the website. They have ratings, links to related programs, links to the different developers websites. A much easier way to find apps that the marketplace IMHO.  Smiley
