Followed the instructions, noticed that your outgoing port was different from the video. Also did not see any box for make this my default email. Where was that? My problem is I am not able to send any emails from this account. ANy assistance would be appreciated.

Thx.
Todd

Did you try the above outgoing stmp if its different from the video to see if it helps with your issue?

By the way, one thing I noticed (& got off the video tutorial) is that the wi-fi has to be OFF for this to work. I also used (I think it was 587) for the outgoing server port (from the video) rather than 25 (as noted above). Good luck.

The way I solved my problem with SMTP on Verizon (I have a Cox Cable account) is that I used my G-mail outgoing mail setting for the SMTP settings on the account. Only issue is that if someone replies it goes to my G-mail account. No big deal as far as I was concerned.
