Hello, is there a way I can set password to protect photos on android? I wanna keep them private.

Yes!

A very popular gallery app called QuickPic offers 'hiding' of folders. Not only can it hide it from within the app, it can also put a .nomedia file into the folder so that no gallery app will even find the photos, you can see them through QuickPic secured by a 4-digit pin, though.

It's free and should work for you, and it's also an amazing gallery replacement.
