Hi. Another quick question. When I got the phone last week I had it all setup the way I wanted, apps and all. When I updated to 2.1 I couldnt add a speed dial, so I had to reset the phone and lost all the apps I downloaded from Android Market. The Verizon rep said when the phone resets they will all reappear. NEVER HAPPENED. Is there a way of saving the apps from Android market in case something happens with the phone again?

You can download Astro File Manager for free from the market place. It has an app backup program built in as well as a ton of other features, It basically gives your memory card a windows type os to cut/paste/edit/rename and other things.

Anytime you do an upgrade, it will most likely clear your apps but they do reappear in the market place not on the phone so you can always redownload. Even apps you paid for will reapear and say purchased next to it. You wont have to pay again.

Thanks. I downloaded that app like you said in my previous post regarding renaming movies. Actually since I have you I tried doing what you said about rnaming movies but still no go. Im not sure if my movies are even in the right place. They were on my sd card from my Storm 2 already and they actually show up under pictures on my Eris, under pictures it shows camera shots, all photos, all videos, pictures and videos. The videos folder when opened shows a thumbnail of the movie with no name. Thanks a lot so far for helping me out.
