Does anyone know how I can watch tv shows on my Eris? I have a friend that uses hulu on his, but when I try, it tells me that flash isn't supported. If not, how can my friend use it, but not me? I asked him this question and he said that he doesn't know, it just worked. If no one has any suggestions about that, how about any other suggestions on site that I CAN use to watch a tv show episode?

You may want to try a browser called skyfire which supports flash...its free in the market

I tried skyfire, but it's still saying that hulu requires flash to be downloaded and it's not supported. Does anyone know of any other sites that are similar to hulu that I could try or maybe any kind of app that is out there?

Try TV.com for tv shows and Lukluk if you want to watch movies.  Both of these are in the apps store, free apps.

I tried tv.com, however, the television network I'm looking for (ABC) is not on there (go figure! lol). I tried registering for lukluk, but a thing pops up saying "The G1 has already registered, please do not duplicate register!" Do you know what that means and if there is any way that I can get around it?

I have read several reviews online about lukluk where people where having the same problem you stated.  I finally uninstalled this app, as it seems no new content is ever added.  Some review stated that the developer abandoned it, now how accurate this is I am not sure.

That means that Lukluk was registered at one time on that card.  I got that before when I got a refurbished phone.  It holds some kind of memory on the card, I think and won't let you re-register again, even though the phone is new.  So, in my case, Verizon gave me a new phone and card which fixed that problem. I had to register with a new user name but it works now.

Oh good...Do you know if they have added any new content?

Yea, actually it seems like there's quite a few more.  I haven't watched any recently but I just went in and looks like there's ones there that weren't 2 months ago.  Kinda nice!

Thank you for letting me know.  Guess I will go back and try the app again.
