Author Topic: Can't get Music or Winamp to find my music on my SD card  (Read 2761 times)

OK, I've had my Eris for over a year now,  and I never bothered putting music on it. Well, I decided it would make a good MP3 player for my upcoming trip. So I slapped my SD card into my PC, made an MP3 folder on it and put a bunch of music on it.

When I put the card back in the Eris, neither of my music playing apps can find the music. I've tried Winamp and the native Music app.

How do I tell it where to find the MP3 files?

Unless your music app has a method of setting the default music folder manually you might try putting it in the default music folder  -

mnt/sdcard/media/audio/Music

Currently I'm using PowerAmp Pro, which allows you to specify your default music folder.
