I have recently purchased a new wirless printer and was wondering if it is at all possible to print directly from the droid to the printer? thanks in advance for any help.

I'd be very surprised to find that you could do that (although I've been surprised before). There are no print options in any of the software pkgs I've seen in Android. I would think that the printer manufacturer would have had to write a driver for it. Pretty unlikely (kinda of a niche market) unless one of the wild men over in XDA are cookin' up something like this. It would probably be for a rooted OS to boot. Good luck though - if you find such a thing I'd love to see it!   Wink

There's printershare premium.  There's a free version that just prints out a test page so you can see if it is compatible with your printer.  Tried it with my HP 6310.  Found it no problem, downloaded the driver and printed out the test page.  It's available in the market.
