Okay, so I have the 2.1 version...I took a pic of my kids and I put it as my home screen wallpaper...well I noticed that I can crop it by 'pinching' the pic...but I cant seem to get it to the size I want..has anyone else tried this? I do not know what photo cropping app to use.

I can help you, you are not actually cropping the pic when you pinch to zoom, you are temporarily changing size to viw the pic. what you can do his open the pic up with the default phone photo app and then hit menu/more and pic crop to actually crop the photo or you can use the free photoshop app.

If you are trying to resize it, to fit the screen then you need to do it on pc and make the photo 640 wide x 480 high it will then be the actual size the phone uses..

LOL. I learned alot from the good folks here and alot of trial and error. Always learning something new though with this site.....

The one thing I dont know is the exact date for 2.2 OTA for the eris, im hearing it will be.......Let me not start this...LOL

There is a pretty good "Photoshop-like" tool for Android phones called Picsay that you might want to check out.
