Yes I would keep my Eris!  All my friends have Iphones and are jealous of my phone and I am not joking.  Now when the 4g comes out it maybe a different story, depending on what it offers.  If no multitasking then yes I would pick the Eris again.

Yea I would keep my Eris. The iphone is too locked down for me. I need to be able crack and hack. I have always been impressed with the way the iphone does certain things but other devices are catching up so...

Also, I swap my battery every day, it would be a hassle to send my iphone in to apple everyday for a battery swap  Wink Wink

2.1 does not change the UI or functionality enough to change your mind, if you want an iphone now you will want an iphone after 2.1 because it just really is not that much different, its just better

Keep my Eris definitely.  Apple is far too closed for me.  I need FREEEEEEEEEEEDOM... and google runs my life.  android fo life!

Eris is a keeper, low-buck, high performance.  Thanks Android, HTC, & Verizon!

I would keep the eris but I would choose any Android over Apple due to the open source.

I waited a few days before posting my feelings about the 2.1 leak. I love it. Glad I upgraded....
