I don't know what I was expecting, but I though it was going to be better than what it is...  Does that make me a bad person!?   Huh?  I'm not sure if it will do as well as Apple hopes.

Ive always refused to conform and buy an ipod or mac. And guess what! I got an 8gb philips mp3/mp4 player works just as well as an ipod. But i only spent 50 bucks! Then, i waited on buying an iphone and guess what! I got the Droid Eris! For free!
So at this rate im sure if i wait on something like the iPad, ill probably end up with something better in about 2 years for less than half of what they are chargin. And i bet mine will have a webcam built in! Hahaha!

My understanding is that the IPAD is an extra large ITOUCH with internet like a smart phone.  Another words you don't have to be in a hotspot to use the internet.
I can't say I am going to rush out and buy one but my daughter bought me an Itouch for Christmas 2 years ago and I love it.  
If someone gives me one as a gift or they get cheaper count me in.  I love my itouch, I just wish it were bigger and the IPad fills the bill.  I would just wait till the bugs are worked out.

Typing this on my wife's Ipad.  It's not bad.  But not the magical experience Jobs said it was.  Personally, I'm waiting for the Notion Ink Adam.  It has better features than the Ipad.  It does 1080 out, USB ports, sd card slot, Tegra 2 chipset, multitasks, Pixel Qi technology.  You can turn the backlight on or off.  Will look like E ink for book reading.  It will run Android and supposedly you can put Ubuntu on it.  Being someone who dislikes how Apple controls every facet of their products, I love that it can run these operating systems!  Just hope it comes out soon enough to be a contender.  It's not out yet because they are trying to get Flash to work on it.

so, I was just informed that I may be getting my own iPad LMAO... even though i don't want one, i guess it would be cool to have one..
I just got a new job that i'm going to be starting in a couple of weeks. No supervision, my own Company Car (gas and maintenance paid), benefits, and an iPad.. Not bad eh? lmao!

What!!!!!  Dude can you get me a job too?  I didnt think they still had these types of perk/benefit jobs out there....Eddie save me...LOL...btw congrats!

Haven't had a chance to see or play around with an Ipad yet and no one I know has one.
