Hello,

Does anyone know of a good contact organizer. One that will allow contacts to be sorted, by Last name etc? Thanks

I think I remember you had this issue in another conversation. I don't know if such an app exists but if it doesn't here's another approach.

All of your contacts are synced to G-mail. From G-mail you can export your contacts to either .csv (Excel) or vcard(Outlook) formats. If you export them as such you should be able to manipulate them in bulk, clear your old contacts from G-mail and them re-import the manipulated file. Once you sync it with the phone - done. If you try this make sure you make a 2nd copy of the exported file as a backup (just in case). You might want to read up on Google for any tips on this process.

Just a thought... Wink

Monty1,

How do I save the exported contact list from G-Mail? I've used the export button several times but never get a Save as dialog box? I would like to export them to either Outlook express or Microsoft Outlook. Thanks

I'm assuming you are doing this from a PC, not the phone (phone browser may not cooperate).

Select Export and click the Everyone (All Contacts). Choose the file type and click the Export button and you should get another browser window with a "Run/Save/Cancel" prompt.

Monty1,

Still couldn't get contacts is alphabetical order. I transferred my Palm contacts which were in Alphabetical order to my SD card. Then imported them into Outlook Express which also allows you to alphabetize contacts. I think part of the issue is I am using Google Chrome for my browser. IE version 8 was to unstable and slow for my taste. Thanks again
