It is available in the market and works great for viewing / editing / sending files on your SD card. It is easy to use. It also has a built in process manager.

Found an option in this program I hadn't seen before, network.  It lets me "add a connection" for an sftp... type.  I'm a geek... kinda... Can somebody tell me what that is?  Does it let me see my sdcard on my laptop?  Please let me know how to set it up.  I tried googling it... but I didn't understand what was being said.   Embarrassed

This APP is great.  Downloaded today after reading a post from jrocker mentioning it and it works sweet.
Backed up all my apps to the SD Card in seconds and it has a ton more I haven't even explored yet.

SFTP Stands for Secure File Transfer Protocol. Some Geeks (like me) maintain a server on the Internet so that you can transfer files back and forth to it. SFTP provides a secure avenue to do so (needs a password to access). The way it works is you send a file or set of files to the server. You can also copy files from the server the same way. Then from another computer (like your home computer) you connect to the server and access the files again. The key is you have to have access to the server. Think of it like a safety deposit box that you can access from the Internet. Handy if you keep stuff at home that you want to access anywhere from the Internet.

Finally downloaded Astro (again) back to my phone per Monty's suggestion.  Have not used it yet but see it does have more options than OI file manager.   Thanks Monty!!!

Astro was awesome after I did my factory reset yesterday.    Cheesy

I Backed up all my apps to my CD Card before the reset and this only took a few minutes  (if that).    After the reset I had all my apps in one place to reinstall them.  No searching downloading and then installing one by one.

Made life so easy :-)
