If you had the option of switching out for free, would  you take the Motorola Droid ?
Can anyone tell me the things that the Droid can do that the Eris can't? Huh?

PS they are virtually the same age and both phones are in great shape.

Questions:
Do you NEED a physical keyboard?
Would you use it?
If so: No, the Moto's physical is garbage, (IMHO, your opinion may differ.)
What is your daily phone usage?
What do you do with it?

I mainly use it as a phone and I don't like the Eris much as a phone.  It is very easy to accidentally dial someone.   That is a little better since I downloaded call confirm.
Other than that I use it for Texting , light duty and pictures mainly.

Can you use Bluetooth with voice dialing on the Motorola?  That is another thing I dislike about the Eris.

If you are worried about "Cheek Dialing" you should try the Moto-Droid for a while first. My daughter has one and that is her biggest complaint about it. When I bought my Eris I had the choice of either Eris or Moto and chose the eris for the size and the lack of the full sized keyboard. I wanted only the touchscreen.

i mean i wouldn't do it. I just feel the eris is a better built phone. HTC makes some of the best phones out there, and well, Motorola is carp.

It did take a while for me to get used to having an all touchscreen phone, exspecially with texting. But now that im used to it,its second nature and i dont see the use of a physical keyboard i feel that the touchscreen while texting is faster.
