I play, but I don't use a tuner because I have a built-in tuner on my acoustic.

I don't, I used to play 100% electric, but then I got bored haha. Right now I'm looking for a new 12-string acoustic, if only I had any money at all

I use the Guitar Tuner from Alvin Yu. It's pretty simple and does the job. A friend uses the G-Tuner from Mark Brinton. It uses the microphone to actually show you if you are low or high. I found the mic is too sensitive, and does not work well unless you are alone with your guitar

I got my "new" 12-string (for -$8 haha) and I now use gStrings. It works amazingly. It does eat battery like a mad man, especially when meticulously tuning 12 strings haha.

No for -$8 (negative $8 haha) I went to Music Go 'Round which is a place that buys used instruments. I traded in my electric and an amp which came to about $130 in trade n value and the used 12-string was $120 with a Hardshell case. I love it!! 12-strings sound so amazing!!

I too use gStrings, it works great, but it drains battery a lot, it even says to try not to have a lot of backrounded apps cause it's such a CPU intensive process.
