I was just wondering what is the difference between Facebook and Facebook for HTC Sense in the Accounts.  I am also having a problem with not being able to see all the profile pictures in my "People" section, even though I have them all linked to their profiles.  Any solutions to this problem? I tried removing the account and adding it again, still no change.

Not sure of the difference since I stopped it, but which one are you syncing?  If you are running htc sense on your phone then you need to have facebook for htch synced.

It is the Facebook for htc sense that I have set right now, but it will not let me choose the regular facebook one.

I'm having a similar problem. It originated when I tried to manually link someones contact info with their facebook, and their name wouldn't show up in my friends list. So then I tried to delete the Facebook for HTC account in the sync options, and then re add it, now it wont re-sync. I tried giving it time, but the only contacts in my phone book that are now currently linked to facebook are the ones i manually did before the 2.1 update. btw im running the plain jane 2.1 that came straight from verizon. But by deleting the Facebook account in the syncing menu, i lost everybodys fb picture as their contact id, and also some entire contacts. any help would be nice.

When you say No Comment, isn't that a comment?

2 things im aware of is the new ota update does address sync issues with facebook and others.

Also if you go to menu-settings-accounts and delete all facebook accounts then reenter your account, that should fix it within a few minutes.

Are your phone contacts sync'd with facebook and google. Seems to work better when they are and having google linked will also save your contacts and resync them if you ever lose them. They are sync'd and stored on your gmail website.

Thank you Jrocker23, this seemed to clear up the problem.  Any word when the minor update will come out?
