I have been having trouble with my alarm. (The alarm is the default alarm clock on my Eris) It doesn't always go off when it is suppose to...anyone know the reason why this could be happening. I appreciate the help and apologize if this has been asked before...
And does anyone know a better (free) alarm clock I can get in the Market??
Thank you everyone  Wink

Here ya go: http://www.droid-eris.com/how-to/alarm-clock-blues/

I believe there are multiple other threads on this subject as well, just search alarm. I don't think a real solution was ever found but there are some good tips in a few of the threads.

I am going to merge this with the other alarms thread.

I have never had a problem with my alarm. There are a few settings when creating an alarm. Open up the alarm page and look for the following -

Make sure the box on the far right is checked to make the alarm active.

Make sure the days you want the alarm to sound are bold, if not, tap the alarm > Repeat and check the days you want the alarm to sound on,

You can check the vibrate option. It will vibrate before the sound you chose to wake you up plays.

I have never set my alarm and kept the silent or vibrate option on the ringer settings. I can understand why people would put their ringer on silent or vibrate while they sleep though. I do not know if it will affect the alarm sound function.

I still do not understand the alarm issue.  I have had the sound turned off and the vibrate, set my alarm and everytime and I mean everytime it has gone off for the time set.  No problems ever, unless you want to count the times my alarm does go off and I actually have to wake up....I hate mornings.
