Thought I would start a new topic for the ones who have downloaded 2.1 to see if they have encountered any bugs and fixes that may need to be addressed. So far I have not run into any bugs but I am still working on customization and new apps. Would love to hear of any problems encountered so far. |

Normally I would say that a topic like this deserves a sticky but since no one has posted and I have nothing to report I guess we'll hopefully just let this thread sit here and hopefully we won't have to use it much. Thanks for posting this and the other thread Dan, we really need to dedicate areas to 2.1 so that everyone can read stuff that is relevant to them.

Has anyone found a fix for the failed connection error after reboot? I know its a pretty common problem but its starting to get on my nerves! I thought I had it fixed but nope.

I'm having that same problem, don't like it and cant seem to fix it. I am also having a problem with one app in particular... I can not get grooveshark back on my phone, i have searched for it in the app store, and it is no where. I had it before I did the update and i WANT it back!!!!!  |

(if it was a paid app) Some paid apps dont show up yet on the new market place or it may not be compatible with 2.1 and wont show. I have had some show and some not due to one or the other issues listed above... |

So far I have not rebooted since upgrading to 2.1. Now this morning when I woke up I did see a notification that my gmail account was not signed in and it wanted me to re-enter my password. I do turn off wifi and 3g before I go to bed and turn back on in the morning. Is this issue about gmail what you guys are talking about? I use this email account about as much as it snows here in Houston.

I think you have to have a GV number. It sounds like the GV version .3 that comes with the OS may be the problem. I do not know if uninstalling GV.3 altogether would fix the issue for those without a GV number.

I just put v.02 in and rebooted 3 times. No issues to report.
I have one question, rom 2.1 comes with Google Voice. I upgraded to 2.1 and it wasn't installed on my phone. Was it supposed to?

I loaded it from the market when I had 1.5 and backed v0.3 up before I loaded 2.1. I did not check to see if it was already there.

Ok, thanks. Thought I did something wrong. I can say all the little bugs SEEM to be gone after using it a few days. Now with the gmail login issue fixed (seems to be after 5 reboots). It is working real nice and smooth..

I don't know if anyone else has this issue as I've not seen it anywhere. The amazon mp3 app that comes stock on the phone keeps starting up on its own. It doesn't actually open, but almost every time I use ATK the app is running. ATK will kill the app, but it always seems to start back up. Anyone else have this problem or know of a fix for it. It's not a huge problem, more of an annoyance. I never ever use this app and it bothers me that I have to keep shutting it down.

Is anyone else having any problems with handcent? Seems like every other message i send fails and i must resend. Ive done the whole *228 and option 2. It does seem that my connection quality is a little less since the 2.1 leak. But usually ive got at least 2 bars when it says message fail. I may use the main sms for a day or so to see if it continues.
