I download off of marketplace. Then I open it and i guess it has to download the whole thing. They both fail and say a possible problem might be that im not connected to the internet. I am connected completely through wifi. any help would be muchhhhhhhhhhh appreciated

Lol I can't try 3G. Where I live I hardly get a bar of service. It's rare to come in contact with 3G.

I don't want to step on jpc toes, but I had close  to the same I did *228 and updated my roaming I had to do it a few times and my 3g is stronger then my WiFi

I'm trying that now. lol wtf it gives me options to update press 2 but i cant seem to figure out how to bring up my keypad. im on a screen that says activating phone not the normal phone call screen


update: i figured it out. didnt change anything. still no 3G service  Cry

Dial *228 wait to hear the comp voice hit option 2 you will hear crappy music and when it  is done it will end the call then it should or you will have to restart your phone

in the middle of no where.  south jersey in a very tree infested area lol. all of our lots are 10acre plus. so yeah. the closest city to me with 3g is about 15miles away. sometimes i get a very slight signal. but lately nothing.

UPDATE: 3G is what it needed. I got a very weak connection to 3G. I started it up and it didn't fail. It's just not downloading because the connection is so weak. So anyone know any ways of boosting signal or changing it so it will just download through my WiFi?

There are booster you can get you have to search them out if you cant find them through VZW, Google search it. Also try doing the roaming deal not at your place but close to it away from the trees.

Ahh ok I gotcha. Well I'd rather just ride my bike 10miles then to buy that thing lol.

Do you maybe know of a way that I could switch it to WiFi instead of it insisting on using 3G?
