I'm running Fantasik (phenomenal ROM btw).  When I flashed, all my purchased apps were downloaded, like usual.  It even remember which purchased I didn't currently have installed.  Nice.  I installed all my other apps through astro.  They didn't show up in the market.  I waited a few days; still nothing.  I spent time and just redownloaded them from the market so they'd be in there.  Surprisingly, they still aren't in there.

Can someone tell me how to get them in there?  I just want to be able to be notified when there are updates.

Thanks!

Astro does not create market links so you would have to download everything again. In the future use Google or titanium for your backups.

Huh....  Astro never had that problem until now.

Ok, I redownloaded all my apps, and here's the weird thing: now, if I search for an app, it tells me that it is downloaded.  If I go to the downloads manager, they do not appear in that list (only the ones that were downloaded upon initial flash).

I'll try appbrain and see if it fixes it.  I'll start using Titanium Backup from now on, instead of Astro.

I remember a popup asking if I wanted Google to sync my apps.  How do I access that?  Or how does it work?  I didn't pay very close attention to it.  =P

Edit: Woh... Ok, I just downloaded Appbrain to my phone, and now all my apps are showing up the manager.  not sure what happened, but I'm going to use Appbrain to keep everything synced up now.  =D

Thanks for your help!

Go to settings/privacy and you will see the settings for Google sync and restore. Google will sync apps, settings, bookmarks, wallpapers, etc. If you sync to Google and use any froyo rom it will restore all of your stuff automatically without using any 3rd party backup app.
