Hello All:

A question about moving the APPS to the SD...if you have a widget running on the screen, does this app need to remain on the phone to run, or will it work if moved to the SD card?

Hey Scott, on 2.1 with apps2sd it can run from sd card, if you are running Froyo (2.2) the widget and program related to it have to run from phone it.

Maybe I do not understand but for froyo the widget and program do not have to be on the phones internal memory to work, they can be on the sd card also.

ok, great....

I downloaded the app APP2SD and ran it but it only listed 3 out of all my apps to be moved to the SD card....is that right?

  Pandora
 Google Sky
 App2SD

  I found that very strange...

  Also a few more questions...

 1. When a new build for KAOS comes out...do I simply flash with the new rom and everything is saved, or I have to redo everything as a factory restore?

  2. I added the CALENDER widget to my screen, and it has yet to sync up and show anything on the screen. It still says NO UPCOMING CALENDAR EVENTS and does not show the weather or date or anything. I checked the settings and everything is set to sync but still nothing...

Thanks:

Scott, first off you do not need aps2sd for any froyo rom.  You need to read the tutorial and get rid of it and changes all values to 0.  Froyo is auto apps to sd, even though you may still need to manually move them from phone to sd.

Many, if not all, Widgets will not work properly if stored on the SD card

OK, I will uninstall that app....

Do I need to do anything once it is gone to correct anything it might have done to screw it up?

I am not sure, I took off aps2sd and changed all values to zero before I flashed any froyo rom.  You may need to wipe and reflash froyo.
